NY-NYC Qualifier 2

On Sunday December 5th AIM Robotics attended the NY-NYC Qualifier 2 at John Dewey High School. This was the teams first ever in person competition and we could not have hoped for better results. We ended up in the winning alliance partnering with team 17522 ETech Chargers, and also took home the coveted Inspire Award. None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the support of our family, friends, sponsors, mentors, and mentees. At the qualifier, it was great playing with so many other teams as our alliance partners. We learned how to adapt our robot to work well with others and created plans to iterate our robot more in the future. This includes: using more 3D printed parts, creating a faster conveyor belt for placing freight onto the shipping hub, and brainstorming possible caping mechanisms. We would like to thank the FIRST staff and volunteers for making this event possible. AIM Robotics cannot wait for our next qualifier on February 6th and championships on March 6th.
