Scrimmage!!

On Saturday November 20th, AIM Robotics attended the scrimmage at the High School for Construction, Trades, Engineering, and Architecture hosted by FTC team 16798. We went undefeated in robot games and placed second overall. Since we have never been to an actual in person competition the scrimmage was a great experience for us. We learned what it is like to compete with an alliance partner and the importance of scouting. Learning how to scout in a low stakes environment was great because we now have the practice for an actual qualifier. Some members of our team also attended the wonderful workshops held. They learned useful skills which will be applied to their department of the team from now on. At the event we continued to reach out to teams and make new friends. With the practice from the sccrimage, AIM Robotics is more ready than ever to take on their first ever in-person competition coming up December 5th.
