Hi! As the team manager of AIM Robotics, I work with scheduling. Now I would like to present to you, Management's M&M cookies!
Servings: around 15 cookies
Prep. Time: 15 minutes (+ time in the fridge)
Difficulty (out of 10): 4.5
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup softened unsalted butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cups M&M's (or a mixture of M&M's and chocolate chips)
Step 1: Dry Ingredients
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Step 2: Wet Ingredients Mixture
In another larger bowl, add in the butter and both sugars. Beat with a mixer until light and fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until it is fully combined.
Step 3: Adding Dry Mixture In
In intervals, add the dry ingredients mixture into the wet ingredient bowl. Mix with a spatula and add in intervals until fully combined.
Step 4: M&M's!
Stir in the M&M's (and chocolate chips). Fold in the M&M's until combined. Put in the fridge for 30 minutes to 2 hours (the longer you wait, the chewier the cookies!) At this time, preheat the oven to 350º and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step 5: Baking Sheets
Roll balls of dough and place onto baking sheets about 1.5 inches apart. If you would like, gently press extra M&M's on top of the cookies. Do not fully press down the cookies - they will spread out by themselves.
Step 6: Bake
Bake for 8-11 minutes until the cookies are spread out and there are slight cracks on the top. They should not look crispy as when the cookies are out of the oven, they will cook for a few minutes in their own heat.
Step 7: Enjoy!
Allow the cookies to cool completely and become more firm. Finally, enjoy!
